Accentuating the CATALIST Project’s Facilitative Role
The CATALIST project’s facilitative role is to build capacity, create awareness, conduct preliminary studies and stimulate the demand and supply of external inputs. Stakeholders of rural development execute the activities as much as possible. Typical CATALIST activities include advising stakeholders, training trainers, promoting and facilitating stakeholder platforms, guiding proximity operators, and using the competitive grant system for upscaling and outscaling present and initiated processes.
